A new change in my life
I've been trying to figure out how to write my next blog, as my life took a turn. Last week I found out that I have prostate cancer. Even writing those words down I still can't beleive it. I kept thinking that how could I have something like this? I'm still in my 40's, isn't this something that guys over 50 have to worry about? I try to watch what I eat, I work out daily. Why me?
So many questions, and not a lot of answers. But that will all come to an end tomorrow. After two days of tests last week, I will find out my fate when I meet with my doctor tomorrow afternoon. I'm not scared anymore. I just want to know what I can do to get this stuff out of me.

I just caught your blog. I will be hoping for the very best for you as you work your way through this issue. Hopefully the fact that you are a relative youngster brings some advantages to bear on this upcoming battle.

Thank you for your note. I believe that I will get through this. I have to because I want to race Pacific Crest next summer.
